Where Heat meets Sweet
Inspired by the West Indies’ long tradition of mixing hot peppers with tropical produce, Hell Honey™ is an experiment in tempering serious heat with the natural sweetness of fresh fruit.
Hell Honey™ starts with fermentation: We combine our ingredients with spices and aromatics, and let them rest in a brine tailored for our recipe. A few weeks later, the naturally occurring good bacteria has thrived, the peppers have fermented, and we can get brewing. The fermented elements are liquefied with fresh fruit, citrus juice, spices, and vinegar. The mixture is then pasteurized on the stove to thicken and halt fermentation. Finally, it is all funneled into bottles, labeled, and ready to enjoy!
All of our sauces are vegan, gluten free, and devoid of added sugars, emulsifiers, and preservatives. Quality is ensured by brewing small batches with love, and meticulously watching over every step of the process, all in Los Angeles!
